A NIGHT OF CULTURAL SPLENDOR: SUCHETANA KRITI UTSAV IN KOLKATA
On the evening of 4 January 2025, the Gyan Manch Auditorium in Kolkata was abuzz with excitement and anticipation. The “Adosha Foundation” had organized a magnificent cultural event named “Suchetana Kriti Utsav” to honor the winners of the A & B groups from the Suchetna Dance Competition.
The event commenced with a heartfelt tribute to the late Odissi Dance Guru, Smt. Poushali Mukherjee, whose legacy continues to inspire many.
The special guest of the evening, Odissi Nritya Guru Rina Jana, was felicitated by the foundation, adding a touch of grace and reverence to the occasion.
The highlight of the evening was the mesmerizing performances by the winning students of “Suchetana Kriti Utsav.” Their graceful movements and dedication left the audience spellbound. Dance groups such as Parampara, Padatik Dance Centre and Malashree also showcased their talent, making the event truly unforgettable.
The program was flawlessly conducted by Mr. Rajib Sarkar, along with the foundation’s founders, Mr. Debmalya Das and Mrs. Minakshi Das. Their efforts ensured that the evening flowed seamlessly, filled with joy and celebration.
In line with the foundation’s mission to support indigent and necessitous artists, financial aid and various items were generously handed over to the family of the amateur flute artist, Shri Dilip Chatterjee Mahasoy. This act of kindness highlighted the foundation’s commitment to uplifting the artistic community.
The “Suchetana Kriti Utsav” not only honored the winners but also brought together a community of artists and art lovers, creating a night of cultural splendor that will be remembered for years to come.
