GHARANA FESTIVAL 2025: A CELEBRATION OF INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC
The Gharana Festival 2025 is set to enchant music lovers with its rich showcase of Indian classical music. Scheduled for January 17th and 18th at 7:00 PM at The Theatre (Amaltas Hall) in the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, this festival promises an unforgettable experience.
Featuring renowned artists like Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi, Pandit Bharat Bhushan Goswami, and Vidushi Anupama Bhagwat, the event will include mesmerizing vocal recitals, tabla solos and sitar performances.
GHARANA FESTIVAL 2025: A MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA
Join for the Gharana Festival 2025, a two-day celebration of Indian classical music. On January 17th at 7:00 PM, enjoy a mesmerizing tabla solo recital by Pandit Satyajit Talwalkar, accompanied by Shri Lalit Sisodia on harmonium, followed by a soulful vocal recital by Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi, accompanied by Pandit Bharat Bhushan Goswami on sarangi and Pandit Susamoy Mishra on tabla.
On January 18th at 7:00 PM experience the enchanting vocal recital by Vidushi Gauri Pathare, accompanied by Pandit Durjay Bhaumik on tabla and Shri Lalit Sisodia on harmonium, and a captivating sitar recital by Vidushi Anupama Bhagwat, accompanied by Ustad Akram Khan on tabla.
SWARANJALI: NURTURING INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC AND DANCE
Swaranjali, established in December 2003 under the Delhi Government’s Society Act, is dedicated to promoting Indian music and nurturing budding artists. This collective of students of Indian classical music and dance provides a platform for exchanging knowledge and encouraging collaboration. Swaranjali organizes multiple concerts annually, offering students a space to showcase their talents. The organization has hosted numerous concerts across various Indian cities and collaborates with prestigious institutions like Sahitya Kala Parishad, Sangeet Natak Academy and India Habitat Centre. Notable events include the Gharana Festival, Pravasi Bharatiya Sangeet Nrittya Mahotsav, Shraddhanjali, and Murchhana Festival.
