Her artistic foundation was laid at Mitali Kalakendra, Guwahati, under Guru Gorima Hazarika, and further enriched at Srjan, Bhubaneswar, under the legendary Padma vibhushan Kelucharan Mahapatra, Guru Ratikant Mohapatra, and Sujata Mohapatra. Nrityagram in Bengaluru with Protima Gauri Bedi and Rudraksh, Bhubaneswar, guided by Pabitra Kumar Pradhan, added unique dimensions to her craft. An Academic and Artistic Visionary Dr. Anjana Moyee Saikia blends her academic brilliance and artistic passion seamlessly. With an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Statistics from Gauhati University, she serves as a Faculty of Statistics in the Department of Community Medicine at Gauhati Medical College.
Her creative spirit led her to establish Darpan Dance Akademi in Guwahati, where she nurtured talent in Odissi, Sattriya and experimental dance forms.
