Colours of India: A Mesmerizing Celebration of Culture and Tradition

Experience the vibrant heritage of Indian classical music and dance at the “Colours of India” event, hosted by SWARANJALI, Delhi at the Sri Sri Madhavadeva International Auditorium in Guwahati, Assam, on April 9 and 10, 2025.
This cultural extravaganza brings together renowned artists for mesmerizing performances in Kathak, Odissi, Sattriya, and Hindustani vocal and instrumental music.
The “Colours of India” event in Guwahati promises two evenings of enchanting performances celebrating Indian classical music and dance.
Day 1 features renowned musicians Pandit Subhasis Bose’s Hansa Veena recital, Pandit Sankumay Debnath’s vocal magic, and a captivating Odissi dance by Roopchanda Sarma and Shaivi Shiv, disciples of Guru Vidushi Dr. Anjana Moyee Saikia.
Day 2 of the “Colours of India” event will be radiated with artistic brilliance, featuring the spellbinding Sitar melodies of Pandit Subrata De, graceful Kathak performances by Vidushi Sangita Chaki and Smt. Sahelee Bose, and the elegant Sattriya dances by Namrata Goswami, Pratishtha Mazumdar, Violina Hazarika, Manjisha Choudhury, and Tiyasha Bera, guided by Guru Vidushi Anita Sharma.
The program united renowned musicians Pandit Subir Talong along with Shri Bijon Tarafdar and Shri Dibyajyoti Changmai, offering audiences an unforgettable symphony of rhythm, grace and tradition.
