EXPERIENCE THE ESSENCE OF INDIA: A CELEBRATION OF CLASSICAL MUSIC AND DANCE

Hosted by Swar in collaboration with the Amrapali Society, Guwahati, this two-day extravaganza on April 9th and 10th, 2025, at the Srimanta Sankardeva International Convention Centre in Guwahati promises an enchanting blend of traditional music and dance. From soul-stirring performances of Hansaveena and sitar to vibrant Kathak and group vocal artistry, the event brings India’s classical heritage to life. 

The programme on 9th April features the soulful Hansaveena by renowned musician Shri Subhasis Bose, the melodious vocals of Pandit Sankumay Debnath, and an inspiring dance performance by the Amrapali Society, celebrating the Guru-Shishya Parampara. 

Day 2 offers mesmerizing group vocals by the Amrapali Society, an elegant sitar performance by eminent musician of international acclaim Shri Subrata De, and a captivating Kathak showcase by renowned musician Smt. Sangita Chaki and her group.
