COLOURS OF INDIA: CELEBRATION OF MUSIC AND DANCE
On the 23rd of March 2025, immerse yourself in the magic of Indian classical music and dance at “Colours of India,” an exceptional day-long event organized by Swaranjali, New Delhi. This grand festival will showcase the extraordinary talents of 75 budding artists, all embracing the timeless Guru-Shishya tradition, at Siliguri.
Celebrate the vibrant essence of Indian art and culture at “Colours of India,” a mesmerizing event showcasing the beauty of classical music and dance. Hosted by SWAR, this delightful journey will unfold on March 23, 2023, at Dinabandhu Mancha, Siliguri, West Bengal, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Enjoy captivating solo performances of Bharatanatyam by Ashmita Jaiswal and Kasturi Das Barman; Kathak by Anamika De & Nikita Bhawal and Odissi by Dr. Dipta Chakraborty. Renowned artists groups including Nritya Mallika, Sonar Tori, Nrityangan and Nritya Mandiram will be presenting their mesmerizing performances during the first session.

Witness a captivating lineup of performances, starting with group vocals by Shadaj Music Academy, led by Nibedita Bhattacharjee, and Raginee Sangeet Shiksha Kendra. Shri. Deepak Kumar Karmakar on tabla and Bulbul Bose on harmonium will also be performing.
Experience the mesmerizing melodies of Hamsaveena by Shri Subhasis Bose, accompanied by Shri Apurbo Banerjee on tabla.
Delight in soulful vocal performances by renowned artists like Ms. Debverna Basu, Shri Saubhik Sangal and Smt Bulbul Bose, supported by virtuosos on tabla, Pandit Subir Thakur, Shri Dipak Kumar Karmakar and harmonium by Shri Rajesh Barman and Shri Ashish Banerjee.
The event also features Sur Sangam, celebrating India’s musical heritage, and a spellbinding violin recital by Shri parijat Bhattacharjee. With support by Prayashi Sarkar, Ayush Gupta, and Anonya Bose, this session promises an unforgettable journey into India’s rich musical tradition.
