Sunflowers to me were about positivity, a symbol of faith and light. The vibrant earth tones with their large flower heads and their ability to thrive in different climatic conditions drove me to paint them as a tribute to this brilliant flower!

Van Gogh’s sunflowers resonate in my canvases, in my palette, recreating the Tomorrow from the past and now!

“Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. That’s what Sunflowers do!”Gita Hudson

Running until 28th April 2025 at VR Bengaluru, Whitefield Art Collective is a true testament to the transformative power of art.
