ART IN THE MANAGEMENT LIFE: Art Exploration & Expression

RENOWNED ARTIST-SANTANU CHAKRABORTY AT JAIPURIA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT, INDORE

The Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore presented a unique workshop ‘Art in the Management Life: Art Exploration and Expression’, a splendid blend of art and management led by eminent artist Santanu Chakraborty on 27 December 2023.

The students of the Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore were thrilled to witness as the renowned artist Santanu Chakraborty shared his insights about his unique vision in identifying the visual harmony of music through art, broadening artistic horizon interweaving art and management in daily life.

 “A certain kind of tension between known and unknown is created through the displacement of those objects in my work as they bear their own identity. So, there also have been made plausibilities of unknown identities for these reasons. Through juxtaposing musical play of lines, colour-balance, ornamentation I tried to create an allegory, at the same time there is a certain kind of satire without denying our Indian aesthetic values,” says the eminent artist Santanu Chakraborty.

“It’s an amazing experience for me in a session on ‘Art in our Management Life’ at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore,” he remarked.

Artist Santanu Chakrabory actively participates in various workshops, exhibitions and engages with young talents and the wider artistic community in the country. As an art teacher at Delhi Public School, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, he plays a significant role in nurturing young artistic talents and inspiring the young artists through his artistic vision and rich experiences.
