FUN WITH CLAY: LET’S MAKE PEN & PENCIL HOLDERS – WORKSHOP BY NANDINI HIRIANNIAH AT TASMAI, PUDUCHERRY ON 4 AUGUST 2024 & 11 AUGUST 2024 @ 3:00 PM

Nandini, a self-taught ceramic artist who is inspired by nature, conducts workshops in which participants will make pen and pencil holders utilising clay by hand building methods at Tasmai, Puducherry.

Session:1 Participants will use clay and each participant can make clay holders which can be fired, once dry.

Session: 2 Participants will colour their holders using underglaze and all art pieces will be glaze fired also.  Participants can pick up the art pieces once ready.

“All materials will be provided to work with, the art works will be fired in an electric kiln twice. Participants can take home a maximum of two completed fired and glazed artworks,” says the organisers of the workshop.

Nandini, the self-taught ceramic artist explored clay during her entrepreneurial career. She makes non-functional art works using hand-building techniques.
