VIRASAT 0.04 – ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF KALASHREE AT CHANDIGARH
KALASHREE, an organization committed to promoting and preserving India’s rich art and cultural heritage, in association with PRACHEEN KALA KENDRA and CSNA presents VIRASAT at Tagore Theatre, Sector 18, Chandigarh on 12 & 13 January 2024.
This cultural extravaganza, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India is curated by Dr. Kavita Thakur, celebrates the theme “अनवरत” (Unstoppable) and showcases a vibrant blend of traditional and contemporary Indian classical arts at Chandigarh.

“This year’s festival promises a unique experience with captivating performances from renowned artists across India. This year’s theme, ‘Virasat0.04’ – अनवरत (Unstoppable), reflects the continuous and ever-flowing nature of our traditional dance forms. The festival will kick off with the premiere of Kalashree Repertory’s new production, “KATHAYOG,” a unique concept combining elements of Kathak dance and yoga on physical and spiritual levels, says Dr. Kavita Thakur, curator of the cultural programmes.
