TOWARDS NATURE – INTERNATIONAL ART SHOW AT LUCKNOW, INDIA

An international art exhibition titled, ‘Towards Nature’ presented by Art Family, India at Kala Srot Art Gallery, Lucknow is on show till 9 August 2024.

The exhibition was curated by Rajib Sikdar, a renowned painter who is also the secretary of Art Family, India.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Honourable Chief Guest Dr V P Sharma, Chief Scientist and Professor ACSIR along with the Guest of Honour Dr Chandra Mohan Nautiyal (Scientist) Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi.

The exhibition titled ‘Towards Nature’ showcased the exquisite art works of 25 eminent artists from India and Bangladesh, expressing their immense feeling of love of nature.

The renowned artists including Hina Bhatt, Jaydeep Bhattacharjee, Rajib Sikdar, Prof. SA Jafar, Sanjay Kumar Raj, Prof. Khokan Raut, Hiranmay Patnaik, Ravi Prakash Singh, Anirban Mallick, Desh Deepak, Fuad Kidwai, Anand Kumar-IRS, Moumita Mosan, Manisha Dixit, Dulal Sarkar, Aniket Chandra Saxena, Jai Shankar Sharma, Dr.Jhilli Choudhury, Dinesh Kumar, Dr. Pragati Singh, Navneet Kumar Randhawa, Vinita Rathore, Rabi Pashi, Prof. SP Verma, Mousumi Mallick Sengupta participated in the exhibition.

“The aim of the exhibition is to bring mankind back to nature, and to bring people closer to each other, which is possible only through love for nature and its immense importance. Art is an expression that cannot be divided by religion, caste, country etc.,” says renowned Painter Rajib Sikdar, Secretary of Art Family, India and Curator of the show.

Many well-known artists of the city, professors of art colleges, students, artists of the regional Lalit Kala Academy and art lovers were present on the auspicious occasion and discussed with the eminent artists from India and abroad. A catalog on the show was also released.
