CELEBRATING CREATIVITY AND RESILIENCE: THE NEW WAVE ART INITIATIVE BY VEVA ART

The highly anticipated New Wave Art Initiative by VEVA ART concluded its grand unveiling at The Park Hotel, Connaught Place, New Delhi.

This extraordinary event showcased the remarkable artistic talents of India’s defence personnel, offering a unique narrative of creativity, resilience and expression beyond the uniform. 

Inaugurated by Delhi Transport Minister Mr. Kailash Gahlot, the event celebrated the creativity and resilience of those who serve our nation. Guests of Honour included Mrs. Asha Bhaduria, Ex-Chief Airforce wife, and Mr. Samir Dewan, Country Head of IndusInd Bank.

The New Wave Art Initiative featured 50 emerging artists, many from India’s defence forces – Army, Navy and Air Force. Their arts exhibits untold stories of discipline, emotion and service. The exhibition was a huge success, fostering diversity in the arts and connecting the defence community with the creative world. High-profile attendees, including defence officers and their spouses, admired the unique talents of their community members. 

Visitors were moved by the powerful stories of life in service depicted through the art. Art lovers are encouraged to visit between 11 am and 7 pm to witness these remarkable works.

The exhibition continues at the Creativity Art Gallery in Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi until 13 October 2024.
