SHRADDHANJALI – INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC DEDICATED IN MEMORY OF LEGENDARY GURU LATE SURAMANI BAURI BANDHU SETHI ATBHUBANESWAR

SWARANJALI DELHI, a premier organization dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of Indian Classical Music presents SHRADDHANJALI – A SERIES OF INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC, dedicated in memory of Late Suramani Bauri Bandhu Sethi of Odisha on 8th & 9th July 2024 at RAMA DEVI WOMEN’S UNIVERSITY AUDITORIUM, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Prof. Aparajita Chowdhury, Smt. Shyamali , Manoranjan Nayak and Keshab will grace the function as Honourable Guests.

INAUGURATION: 8 JULY 2024

On the inaugural day, BEENKAR Instrumental Group headed by Saundarya Ranjan Roy & Jiban Prakash Das along with eminent artists Rosy Dutta Pandit (vocal) and Subhasis Bose (Hamsaveena) will mesmerise the audience.

PROGRAMME – 9 JULY 2024

Renowned artists Subrata De (Sitar), Soumi Majumdar (vocal) and Pragnya Mishra (vocal) supported by renowned artists Susamoy Mishra, Amit Chatterjee, Sayan Chatterjee and Amitava Sen will perform with their enchanting Vocal Jugalbandi at Rama Devi Women’s University Auditorium, Bhubaneswar from 5.00 PM to 9.00 PM.

“Join us for an unforgettable journey through the soulful melodies and rhythmic beats of Indian classical music, as we come together to celebrate the Series of Indian Classical Music, dedicated in memory of legendary Guru Late Suramani Bauri Bandhu,” says eminent Sitarist Subrata De, the founder of Swaranjali, Delhi and  the most promising cultural ambassador of India, propagating Indian heritage in its purest form through baithaki and Concerts  facilitating musical extravaganzas participating young talented artists in India and abroad.

Renowned musician Soumi Majumdar has performed at various prestigious Classical and Semi-Classical concerts and her rendition and graceful voice has won the hearts of lovers of Classical as well as contemporary music including the Thumri-Dadra, Bhajan, Ghazal and Bengali modern songs (Adhunik). She has received many awards including 2nd Pratima Chandra Memorial Award-2017 and was honoured by West Bengal State Music Academy. She is an empanelled artist of Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (A grade in Khayal) and a regular performer artist in AIR and Television.

Renowned Hindustani Vocalist Pragnya Mishra has performed at various prestigious Classical concerts and Music festivals.
