A MESMERIZING CONCERT AT NEW DELHI

ROOHANI: A Musical Concert by Eminent Musicians Radhika & Bhoomika

ROOHANI – An enchanting musical evening at the India International Center, C.D. Deshmukh Auditorium, 40 Max Mueller Marg, Lodhi Gardens, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi 110003, today, 1 September 2024, starts at 6:00 PM.

Renowned Hindustani Classical musician Radhika will grace the stage with her captivating performance. Trained in Hindustani classical vocals from an early age, Radhika completed her Sangeet Vishaarad from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Lucknow, and her Alankar from Brihad Gujarat Samiti, Ahmedabad, where she was a gold medalist.

For the past few years, Radhika has been under the tutelage of Pandita Gargee Siddhanta Dutta of the Mewati Gharana, following her training with the eminent classical vocalist Pandit Sarathi Chatterjee of the Kirana Benaras Gharana.

Radhika has performed solo in various cities, including Udaipur, Jaipur, Delhi, Gurgaon, Varanasi, Kolkata, Patna, and Chandigarh.

Renowned, talented and passionate musician Bhoomika, who received tutelage from the esteemed Ustad Mushkoor Ali Khan of the Kirana Gharana, will also present a mesmerizing performance. She has trained under Rama SundarRanganathan, Pandit Sarathi Chatterjee of the Kirana Gharana, and Pandita Gargi Siddhant Dutta of the Mevati Gharana. With a versatile trajectory as an art critic, sculptor, teacher, and performer, she has graced various reputed national and international platforms.

Renowned musicians Sukanta Bajpayee on Tabla, Zakir Dholpuri on Harmonium, and Tanish Dholpuri on Sarangi will be accompanying the artists.
