LIVE CLASSICAL VOCAL PERFORMANCE / RHYTHMIC KASHI

Rhythmic Kashi conducts a live Classical Vocal Performance by famous artist Indrani Dasgupta on 27 November 2022 at 8.00 PM (IST).

 Indrani Dasgupta was under the able tutelage of the Queen of the Patiala Gharana, Vidushi Meera Banerjee  and her daughter Vidushi Indrani Mazumdar .

She is now a regular artist in All India Radio and Doordarshan.

Indrani stood first in Talent Search Competition of the All India Radio in 1995.  She received the President’s award (gold medal) and stood third in Dover Lane Music Competition,  both in Khayal and Thumri in 1993 .

Indrani Dasgupta came first in Rajya Sangeet Academy in the genre of Khayal and Thumri in 1996 and 1997. She was awarded the title of ‘Sur Moni’ by the Sursingar Samsad, Mumbai.

Indrani Dasgupta was  awarded a scholarship by the Human Resource Department, Government of India (1997-99) and conducted many vocal performances.

Rhythmic Kashi is an Online Musical Platform based in Varanasi founded for the promotion of Indian classical music and has been conducting many live programmes of renowned artists.
