REFLECTIONS – An Art Exhibition of 20 MFA Final Students of Faculty of Visual Arts, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is on show at Mahamana and Ahivasi Art Galleries, BHU Varanasi.

“At a large, this exhibition focuses on the issues directly associated with nature and the people. The issues of environment, cultural issues and many more diverse forms find their appropriate place in the art works presented here.

The connotation of the word ‘Reflection’ suggests a sense of affiliation, so can be found in the works displayed.

The art works take us to a different world of imagination, natural serenity, spirituality and mythology.

As the city of Varanasi has its peculiar character having tradition on one hand and modern on the other, so does  the exhibition harmonizing and encompassing various hues of human life.

The purpose of this exhibition is to initiate a reciprocation of thoughts between artist and the visitor through the work of art,” Curator of the Show Dr. Suresh Chandra Jangid, Faculty of Visual Arts specifically relates the works of all budding artists of BHU, Varanasi to everlasting nature and human being.
