GREAT CONJUNCTION
RARE CELESTIAL EVENT
Jupiter and Saturn will be seen very close appearing like one bright star in the south western sky today.
The spectacular sight is termed “a great conjunction” as the two planets have never seen so close since 1623.
Jupiter will look brighter and can be easily visible. Saturn will be slightly faint.
The conjunction could be seen just after sunset between 6.30 and 7.30 pm today.
The “great conjection” of 2020 will be the closest since 1623.
The great conjunction occurs approximately every 20 years.
