JIVA-CHAKRA: A SOULFUL ART EXHIBITION BY DIPANKAR MANI

Chitrakoot is set to host “Jiva-Chakra (The Soul Cycle),” a captivating solo exhibition of original paintings by Dipankar Mani. Scheduled from January 12 to 14, 2025, at the Chitrakoot Art Gallery in Kolkata, this event will celebrate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

The exhibition, based on Vedantic lores, will feature an inauguration by Pandit Mallar Ghosh, an internationally renowned rhythm maestro and music composer. Other notable guests will include Prof. Dr. Mahua Mukherjee, Dr. Soumyajit Roy, Mallika Ghosh, Shakeela, Abdul Halim Sheikh, Mandir Dutta and Monikiran Duttagupta.

Renowned artist Dipankar Mani is a self-taught artist and philanthropist whose semi-abstract works in mixed media beautifully capture themes of divinity and spirituality.

His unique style, characterized by bright colors and individualistic expression, sets him apart in the art world.

Dipankar Mani holds a diploma in Visual Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, where he earned a Gold Medal for his exceptional talent. His journey and contributions to art continue to inspire many.

Artist Dipankar Mani has specialized in the calligraphic art form, infusing his paintings with Vedantic insights and the profound influence of Indian philosophy and Swami Vivekananda’s spiritual treatises. He has showcased his work in numerous exhibitions, including the ‘Art Gaffin’ Indo-US Art Exchange program and group exhibitions at the Birla Academy of Art and Culture. His artworks grace galleries such as Kamuela Collector in Hawaii, USA, Birla Academy of Art & Culture, and Chitrakoot Art Gallery, leaving a lasting legacy of artistic excellence.
