In a testament to the universal language of visual storytelling, the 2nd edition of the Jaffna Photography Festival 2024 is all set to captivate audiences with a 5 days Exhibition at Kalam Jaffna, Sri Lanka on 26 January 2024.
“This year’s exhibition, supported by Jaffna Photography Society, Kalam Jaffna and Jaffna Photography Institute, Irathi promises a rich tapestry of images that go beyond mere visuals and explored the narratives embedded in each photograph, offering glimpses into the unique cultures and landscapes that define our shared human experience,” says Tharmpalan Tilaxan, the Festival’s founder and organizer who expresses pride in curating an event that transcends borders, showcasing the works of 35 photographers from all over the world.
The Festival celebrates the diverse perspectives of 27 talented Sri Lankan photographers and 8 international contributors showcasing 175 photographs. R.
