KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA ONGC SRIKONA HOSTS INFORMATION SESSION ON HIGHER EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN THE US

Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Srikona, in collaboration with the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), American Centre, Kolkata organised an Information Session on higher educational opportunities in the United States.

The session was moderated by Mrs. Megha Roy Chatterjee, Education Advisor, USIEF, American Centre – Kolkata, who shared comprehensive knowledge about studying in the US, including undergraduate and postgraduate programs, scholarship opportunities, application procedures and tips for successful admission. The session elucidated various aspects of the American education system, academic requirements, standardized tests and cultural aspects of studying and living in the US.

“The session aims to provide valuable insights and guidance to students of Classes 9-12 who are interested in pursuing higher education in the US. The enlightening session provided an opportunity to learn more about pursuing academic aspirations in the United States for the young minds,” says a note issued on the unique Session on higher educational opportunities in the US.

“Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Srikona went on to prove its commitment to provide quality education and holistic development opportunities for the students through this novel initiative. With a focus on academic excellence, the institution took a step forward to nurture future-ready global citizens,” note added.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Principal Shri Sandeep Kumar Sharma offered a flowery vote of thanks to conclude the event.

The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) promotes mutual understanding between the nationals of India and the U.S through educational exchange, conducting various academic or professional workshops and other programmes. The American Centre in Kolkata serves as a hub for educational and cultural activities, facilitating interactions and collaborations between Indian and American institutions.
