INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERT AT BANGKOK

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA CULTURAL CENTRE, EMBASSY OF INDIA, BANGKOK presented INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERT by renowned artists Pandit Subrata De, Pandit Sankumoy Debnath, Pandit Susamoy Mishra  and Pandit Siddartha Chatterjee.

Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), the cultural wing of the Embassy of India in Thailand  presented ‘An Evening of Indian Classical and Music Concert’ on November 21, 2023 @ 6 PM at SVCC Auditorium, Vasu 01 Building Complex, Soi 25, Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok.

Eminent artists from India, Pandit Subrata Dey (Sitar), Pandit Siddhartha Chatterjee (noted Tabla artist), Pandit Sankumay Debnath (Vocal) and Pandit Susamoy Mishra (noted Tabla artist) graced the audience where melodies weave stories of rich heritage and culture that echoed through ages.

Shree Subrata De has been a cultural ambassador to many countries and is a panelist of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. Graded artist of AIR, Subrata De founded Swaranjali, an organisation dedicated to Indian music and for the promotion of budding artists.

Pandit Sankumay Debnath is a well- known Indian Classical Vocalist who has performed at a number of concerts all over the country and toured extensively for live performances in Germany, Austria, France and was fortunate to perform before the Prime Minister of India at the Louvre Museum, Paris.

Eminent Tabla artists Pandit Susamoy Mishra and Pandit Siddartha Chatterjee have performed at many prestigious concerts in India and abroad.
