RENOWNED HINDUSTANI CLASSICAL VOCALIST PRIYANKA MITRA

Renowned Hindustani vocalist Priyanka Mitra is a versatile Indian Classical, Semi-Classical musician, a compassionate Teacher, dedicated professional and an effective communicator.

Priyanka Mitra has been trained in Shrutinandan and learned from renowned musicians Smt. Chandana Chakraborty and Smt. Kaushiki Chakraborty. She was also trained in Classical music under the guidance of renowned Hindustani Classical Vocalist, Composer and Lyricist Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty and has been a senior scholar under Guruji Padma Shri Pandit Ullas Kashalkar at ITC, Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata. She also studied Semi-Classical music under the tutelage of Guru Shri. Anjan Majumdar.

Renowned vocalist Priyanka Mitra holds a Honors and Master’s with first class in Classical vocal music from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. A recipient of National Scholarship, she has bagged several Awards including the renowned Dover Lane Music Competition in Khayal, Bhajan and Ragpradhan; National Scholarship in Vocal music from Government of India and Pandit Ravi Kichlu Foundation Award in Bhajan.

Priyanka Mitra has participated in various concerts including Dover Lane (Periodical) Concert and also performed in various prestigious platforms all over India. Priyanka Mitra is a regular artist in AIR, Siliguri.
