This grand event takes place on Tuesday, 29th April 2025, at 6:30 PM at the iconic Triveni Kala Sangam, Mandi House, New Delhi, bringing together maestros, disciples and lovers of the art.
A heartfelt tribute to the Gurus who have dedicated their lives to preserving and nurturing Indian classical dance, Guru Pranam Utsav showcases the rich heritage of Odissi, Mohiniyattam, and Kathak through mesmerizing performances.
The evening unfolds with distinguished guests gracing the occasion, including Padma Shri Guru Durga Charan Ranbir, the esteemed Guru of Honour, along with Shri Uma Shankar Garg, a renowned social activist, and Guru Vijay Shanker, the Guest of Honour.
The event features captivating performances by talented artists and disciples. Audiences will witness the spellbinding grace of Odissi presented by Vaishali Kala Kendra, disciples of Guru Dr. Jyoti Shrivastava. The fluid movements of Mohiniyattam will be performed by Sushri Hritika Aneesh, a disciple of Guru Dr. Deepti Omcherry Bhalla. Adding to the artistry, Sushri Gayatri Ranbir, disciple of Padma Shri Guru Durga Charan Ranbir, will bring alive the spirit of Odissi, while Guru Kavita Thakur will mesmerize with an enthralling Kathak recital.
