DISCOVER THE ARTISTRY OF RENOWNED ARTIST BINDIYA RATHOD AT TASMAI, PUDUCHERRY

‘GUJRAT ART SHOW’ – SOLO EXHIBITION

Join  for a captivating solo painting exhibition by the renowned artist Bindiya Rathod at Tasmai, Puducherry. The exhibition supported by the Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi  will open on Thursday, 7 November 2024, and will be available for viewing until Sunday, 10 November 2024.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Monsieur Laurent Jalicious, Director of Alliance Française De Pondichéry.

Bindiya Rathod, a veteran artist with over 37 years of experience, began her artistic journey at the tender age of 10, inspired by her mother. Over the years, she has mastered a diverse range of art forms, from object paintings to abstract creations in various mediums.

Renowned artist Bindiya Rathod has received numerous accolades, including certificates and trophies, for her exceptional work. Beyond her personal achievements, she runs a drawing class and an NGO, Zindagi Gayejaa Trust, which helps senior citizens pursue their hobbies. Zindagi Gayejaa Trust was founded  for focusing on enhancing and strengthening public and  community programs by reaching out to the socially and economically underprivileged sections of the society in rural and urban areas. Supported by Chandresh Rathod, her musician husband and two sons, Padmaj and Poorvayan, Bindiya continues to inspire the community from her hometown  Surat. 

“We teach, motivate and provide a platform and serve the community at large, especially senior citizens who are facing many problems,  making them stress-free and healthy. Our activities include conducting motivational seminars, music programmes and music tours. We say ‘Abhi Sab Gayenge’ means now all will sing,” says Chandresh Rathod, musician, motivator and founder of Zindagi Gayejaa Trust.

A graduate of MKB University, Bhavnagar and a dedicated disciple of the Late Shri Khodidasbhai Parmar, Bindiya beautifully captures her vision: 

“The blues of the oceans are the hues while the sky becomes a canvas; let the greenery become the brush, as I wish to paint the world, like once god did.”
