Soma Bhaduri (Goswami) is a beacon of inspiration in the world of music, celebrated for her exceptional talent and dedication.

Soma Bhaduri, a gifted and passionate musician, has dedicated her life to the art of classical and semi-classical music. With 16 years of rigorous training in Rabindra Sangeet under the guidance of her Gurus, Smt. Smritirekha Roy Chowdhury and Smt. Chandana Chakraborty, she honed her craft with unwavering dedication. Her musical journey then led her to ITC Sangeet Research Academy, where she trained under the illustrious Guru Pandit Arun Bhaduri, and she further enriched her expertise in thumri under Pandit Biresh Roy. 

Her accolades, including a National Scholarship from the Ministry of Human Resources in 1997 and multiple awards from esteemed institutions like Nehru Children Museum,  Paschim Banga Rajya Sangeet Academy, Ravi Kichlu GoldenTalent Search 1996,  Dover Lane Music Contest and All India Radio, highlight her unmatched expertise and dedication.

Soma Bhaduri has innovatively presented ‘Gaan Bhanga Bandish,’ blending the poetic essence of Rabindra Sangeet with the soul of classical bandishes.

Her mesmerizing performances have graced various stages across West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh, leaving an indelible mark on music lovers everywhere.

Beyond her professional achievements, Soma Bhaduri is a compassionate soul who uses music to bring solace to those battling depression. Fluent in Bengali, English and Hindi, she combines her love for music, reading and writing to create melodies that heal and inspire.
