MAYUKH DAS: A YOUNG MAESTRO OF THE SANTOOR

Mayukh Das, a gifted Santoor player from Kolkata, is carving a unique niche in the world of Indian classical music. Mentored by luminaries like the legendary Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya and Pandit Sandeep Chatterjee, Mayukh’s artistry reflects depth and brilliance. 

His dedication shines through prestigious performances at platforms such as Santoor Ashram, Bangla Sangeet Mela, Stars of Tomorrow and Rajya Yuva Sangeet sammelan.

Received 1st prize in Inter Divisional Railway competition and Bharat sanskriti Utsav, he also holds accolades like the CCRTS scholarship (2023) and the Bengal Excellence Award (2024) for Best Young Artist Award 2024.

Beyond performance, Mayukh is committed to academic excellence, pursuing his B.A. Hons in Santoor from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata.
