A JOURNEY INTO THE WORLD OF MANDALAS AT PUDUCHERRY

TASMAI, a Centre for Art and Culture, Puducherry conducts a Workshop by Akhila. H on Sunday, 22 December 2024, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM, promises to be a journey into the world of Mandalas.

The workshop, led by the talented Akhila H., invites participants to explore the intricate and meditative art of creating Mandalas. The word “mandala” itself, derived from Sanskrit, means “circle,” symbolizing the universe, the relationship between humans and the cosmos, and a spiritual journey. During this session, attendees will learn to make a grid, draw a mandala, ink it, and color it, discovering the calming and focusing effects of this ancient art form.

Akhila, inspired by the beauty of nature, believes that everyone has the innate ability to express themselves through art. Her works reflect the cosmic energy present in the simplest yet most beautiful elements of nature. Since 2015, she has been passionately engaging in mandala art, and her enthusiasm is infectious.
