SHRUNGARAM – ODISSI DANCE PERFORMANCE AT NEW DELHI

The Rasa School of Odissi Dance is delighted to present SHRUNGARAM –  a mesmerizing evening of Odissi Classical dance, exploring Rutu Kavya Seasons, the ancient Indian seasonal poetry through ancient poets and languages on 29 September 2024 at the prestigious Triveni Kala Sangam Auditorium, New Delhi. 

The event is graced by esteemed Guests of Honour – Vidushi Kumkum Lal, Vidushi Madhavi Mudgal, Vidushi Sharon Lowen and Vidushi Daksha Mashruwala.

 Renowned musicians and dancers, including Sudarshan Sahoo, Subrata Tripathy, Asha Kumari, Santosh Kumar Swain, Geetanjali Acharya and Lipsa Satpathy will present an enchanting performance that celebrates the rich heritage and expressive beauty of Odissi dance.

The enchanting music composition and soulful vocals by Shri Jateen Sahu are complemented by the rhythmic beats of the Mardal played by Shri Rohan Dahale. The melodious flute tunes of Shri Vijay Tambe and the harmonious sitar strings of Smt Aparna Deodhar add layers of depth to the performance. Conceptualized by Subrata Tripathy, the choreography by Artists in Unison brings the vision to life, while the narration, written and delivered by Soumi Duttagupta, weaves a captivating story here.
