But the President of Thanneermukkom Grama Panchayath has thought differently.He requests the residents to open up the wide long umbrella to protect themselves from the pandemic Covid-9. Practice social distancing by simply opening the age old Umbrellas while moving in public place.It’s really a good idea to open out long umbrella to cover our head from the scorchy sun and from the devastating pandemic Covid.The great protection and the distancing will give high rewards definitely. Now the authorities of Thanneermukkom Grama Panchayath have made a clarion call to make it a habit of using umbrellas extensively in coming days. Nearly 10,000 umbrellas will be supplied to Kudumbasree members and workers under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS).Umbrellas will be supplied at subsidised rates.More over one lakh masks will be produced with the help o f Kudumbashree Units in the panchayath. |
