Gallery 1000A presents ORES OF TRANCE – a Group Exhibition of eight eminent contemporary artists at New Delhi.

“We are presenting eight contemporary artists, practicing abstract forms of art; Akhilesh, Bagwan Chavan, P Gopinath, Hemraj, Rashmi Khurana, Shobha Broota, Shridhar Iyer and Ysuf at their felicitous phase of creative life, experienced and mature, delving deeper with the diverse mode of approach they have been striving to unravel new layers of meaning of life, existence and being of oneself. Nonfigurative, abstract or minimalist, termed as such, they have devised their visual vocabulary to express their aesthetic experiences. Each one of them has an upgraded trajectory for their practice that is distinctive and acutely parallel to the story of Indian contemporary art. For an artist, especially a nonconformist, the crystallizing point of perfect synchronization of both medium and message is a moment of fruition. That is the zone of realization, and from there, the perpetual wisdom coalesces with oneself,” says T K Harindran, renowned artist and Curator of the Show.

“Ways are diverse to come into being unique. Immersed in the creative trail, get attuned to being one. The transfiguration to be one such is provided by persistence in a quest. A long and solitary path in pursuit of perfection comes across myriads of identifying senses in fleeting states. Through the deep and innate sense of understanding that is honed by experiences, one reaches the pitch of contentment within oneself. It is an intimate dialogue in the depths of the diaphragm of the conscious and unconscious segments of the mind and thought. That makes an artist traverse the unbound and uncharted,” he explained in detail.

““It is the most-awaited show of eight eminent artists practicing abstract forms of art and we are delighted to welcome you to the prestigious Show at our new premises,” says the organisers of the Show. The Show will continue till 20 May 2024, from 11.30 AM to7.30 PM on all days except Tuesdays.
