30 YEARS OF GAUDIYA NRITYA BHARATI CELEBRATIONS AT KOLKATA

GAUDIYA NRITYA & SAKAL RASER DHARA BASED ON TAGORE SONGS

Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC), Kolkata, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India celebrated 30 years of Gaudiya Nritya Bharati at EZCC Natmancha, Kolkata on 1 March 2023.

Gaudiya Nritya & Sakal Raser Dhara based on Rabindra Nath Tagore’s songs was performed by Prof. Dr. Mahua Mukherjee, renowned artist Prabir Bhattacharjee compared and music directed by Pandit Amitava Mukherjee.

Participants include renowned artists Ayan Mukherjee, Dr. Soumya Bhowmick, Dr. Satabdi Acharya, Dr. Paramita Banerjee, Sayantika Majumdar, Ananya Ghosh, Manikiran Dutta Gupta, Nayanika Chatterjee, Moumita Samui, Ditsa Samui, MD. Romon Islam (Bangladesh), Koushik Sau, Jayanta Bishwas and Indranil Ghosh and others.

Other famous invited groups of the performers include Mitrayan, Vikramshila, Gaudiya Rekha Mandhir and Gaudiya Charukala Bharati.

Dr. Kalyan Kr. Chakraborti, Nirmalya Bhattacharyya and Smt. Namita Mukherjee attended the programmes as Guest of Honours.

Dr. Satabdi Acharya Chakraborti (Bikramshila), Dr. Soumya Bhowmick (Gaudiya Charukala Bharati), Suamita Ghosh of Siliguri (Sailashree Nrityangan), Koushik Sau (Gaudiya Rekha Nandir) and many famous artists attended the Programmes.

Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata was founded for the promotion of the rich diversity and uniqueness of various art forms of the Zone and to upgrade and enrich the consciousness of the people about their cultural heritage.
