LARISSA NOURY SHINES AT PARIS ART AND LITERATURE FESTIVAL
Paris recently hosted two significant cultural events, showcasing the beauty of modern creations and diverse artistic techniques.
The Art and Literature Festival at the City Hall of the 7th district, organized by Lions Club International, featured many authors and artists, including Larissa Noury, who presented her conference, tactile paintings and four books on Colours and Culture. Thanks to the wonderful organizers, Ms. Brigitte Jacouty and Anne-Marie Janicki, many authors and artists had the opportunity to showcase their work and represent their books.
The event was graced by international guests from Japan, Spain, Italy, USA, Morocco and local celebrities, with warm welcomes from Ms. Josiana Gaude and Mr. Jean Laussucq. Additionally, the 71st Salon de Charenton opened at the Space Art & Liberty, offering a diverse overview of local and regional creations. These events provided a platform for artists to share their work and for audiences to appreciate the richness of contemporary art.
The inauguration was attended by Mayor Hervé Gicquel, Deputy Mayor Delphine Herbert and Frédéric Mette, director of the Center Art et Liberté.
DISCOVERING CONTEMPORARY ART AT THE SALON DE CHARENTON
During its inauguration, more than 500 guests and artists had the pleasure of discovering the selected works at the Salon de Charenton. This exhibition, held in a spacious and bright venue under the direction of Mr. Frédéric Mette, aims to raise public awareness of contemporary creation. The guest of honor, Yan Marczewski, born in 1968 in Bayonne, is a painter who explores the limits of abstraction and the subtle border with figuration. His paintings are ever-changing, reflecting the emotion of a moment through his unique use of color and flat pigments. As Deputy Mayor Ms. Delphine Herbert noted, Marczewski’s work is like that of an alchemist, transforming and creating colors that captivate the viewer.
THE ANNUAL SALON: A CELEBRATION OF ARTISTIC TECHNIQUES
The annual Salon introduces visitors and art lovers to a wide range of artistic techniques, including painting, engraving, photography, drawing, mixed media and sculpture. This year’s Salon stands out for its choice of painters, who are great colorists practicing abstract landscapes that navigate between meditative interior spaces and the free transport of natural spectacles. Their large formats bring color and matter into dialogue with strength and sensuality, embodying the universe of lyrical abstraction at the limit of figuration. The diversity and eclecticism of the ensemble promote an easy and uninhibited approach to art. Larissa Noury’s painting “Sacred Landscape, Mont Sainte Catherina” attracted special attention from the public.
A CELEBRATION OF ARTISTIC HARMONY
Visitors to the art show were captivated by the unique technique of the artist, who masterfully showcased the harmonies of colors, transmitting all the energy of Nature. The artworks showcased a poetic landscape, blending abstraction and figurative elements. The subtle and dazzling paintings, marked by a unique technique, conveyed deep emotions with simplicity.
